+ What is electrolysis?
Electrolysis is the scientific process of splitting water (H₂O) into pure hydrogen gas (H₂) and oxygen gas (O₂) using electricity. Our bottle uses a high efficiency PEM (Proton Exchange Membrane) system, the gold standard in hydrogen production, to generate clean, therapeutic hydrogen gas directly into your water. No additives, no by-products.

Positively charged hydrogen ions (H⁺) pass through Be Hydrogen’s Proton Exchange Membrane before gaining electrons to form molecular hydrogen gas (H₂). How is hydrogen water made?

Hydrogen Concentration Levels
Therapeutic hydrogen concentrations start at around 0.5 PPM (parts per million). The Be Hydrogen Bottle produces 2.5 PPM in just 5 minutes.
Is hydrogen water safe to drink?
Hydrogen water is safe to drink. Molecular hydrogen is a natural, non-toxic gas that our bodies produce in small amounts during digestion. Drinking hydrogen water simply increases the amount of hydrogen available to the body, enabling us to access more of the health benefits that hydrogen offers.
How long does the hydrogen remain effective in the water?
In high-quality systems like Be Hydrogen’s, dissolved hydrogen can remain effective for a few hours. However, the concentration of hydrogen will gradually decrease over time, so for optimal results drink Be Hydrogen water shortly after infusion.
